Here’s a new perfect 1950s Black Stetson Homburg， St. Regis， it’s an original HOMBURG. Size 7 So many folks have asked dad if he will steam a pinched crown (see last picture to get an idea how it will look， that’s just pushed in so it will be steamed into the hat and the lines will be better defined once it’s steamed into the hat) into the hat? Dad will do that if you write to us after you buy the hat. If you look through dads other listings you will find a couple that he has already done that to， they are really beautiful. It’s just the classic， jet black color with a matching black grosgrain ribbon. It’s so very rare to find these BRAND NEW! As you can see the liner has a clear plastic overlay and the beautiful STETSON Lettering on it! Since there is a plastic overlay it’s easy to date to post 1950. Please look at all the pictures of every angle! There’s nothing to hide! The beaver is very very soft and thick. We compared it to dads own 1950s Stetson 3X， Ten， Twenty and TwentyFive. The best fit was the Beaver Fifteen， it’s just very soft and thick. You just don’t find these hats in such excellent condition anymore. Note: the box is for display only. It was just for pictures. The original Godfather hat. The hats worn by gentlemen of POWER， WEALTH and PRESTIGE. Every Old western had the Barons of the land， cattle or bank or mayor wore one. Every business man of power wore one on Wall Street to bank owner. Every Italian Boss or Family head of family wore one. Dad loves these and that's why he has so many. Please write if you have any questions. We actually measure each hat 3 times to verify it’s size， tagged or not. We found no undertag with the size on it? We did see a paper under tag that states，” NEW YORK HAT STORES Style F6099 and a price of $12.50”. This is a tag that we have never seen before? We did measure the hat though 3 times and dad gave it a slight stretch to make it a size 7， see picture. It was on dads stretched for over a week and You can see it’s right on the 7 on the stretcher but it’s measuring a fraction under by 1/8 of an inch. If you actually wear the hat it’s such a slight different it will be perfect afterwards. So a perfect size 7 is 22 inches and this measures exactly 22 inches. We use the 1970 Standard Hat Size Chart， which is what all the big manufacturers agree upon and is still in use today. These old vintage hats were very well made!
