This is a beautiful Large Antique German 26 inch Bisque Head Doll. She has blue glass eyes and long curly brown hair. Six teeth showing in the open mouth of her sweet face. Her leather and fabric body is jointed and filled with sawdust， and her hands are porcelain. I don't see any cracks or chips in her Bisque Head， at least not to the naked eye. Her hands are also unbroken. And I am unable to look under the hair because it's glued on. Please realize that I am not a doll dealer or expert. I can only describe what I see. I've also tried to show several photos. There are joints at her hips， and her knees bend. The leather body needs to be cleaned. There are some taped areas that are holding in sawdust blow-outs and thin threads at the shoulders. This doll was made in Germany as is marked on her back plate. She is also marked "Ruth". And "2" She has long brown curly hair and blue glass stationary eyes. She has both painted and applied eye lashes. The applied ones are starting to come off. Her dress is a beautiful cornflower blue Dupioni SILK with ivory lace trim and has tiny buttons in the back. This is truly silk and not polyester or such. It was professionally made several years ago by a dress-maker and is not mass produced or a mommy-made. condition is excellent. The dress is adorned with a Vintage faux drop pearl on gold tone brooch. The hat is old but I don't know the age. Vintage， not antique. There is a water stain on the top of it but is in otherwise good condition. Among the satin flowers and berries is also an antique butterfly pin， and a lovely blue feather plume. The shoes are very unusual light blue suede with off-white rabbit fur on them and leather bottoms. The shoes are old. off-white vintage socks complete her outfit. You will receive this Lovely sweet doll ready to display completely dressed as shown. Please ask questions prior to purchase. I am happy to answer as best as I can. She's a beautiful doll and needs a new mommy. I will ship to anywhere in the US securely packed with insurance. Thank you!
