Great hat! Leather sweatband is completely attached and still soft and pliable. No cracks and NOT dried out.No cracks or breaks in the straw! Some very minor bends but we filled the picture gallery so you could see every angle， we hid NOTHING!If you have any questions please write to us.

This EXCELLENT 1940s VERY RARE Original Vintage Straw Cowboy hat! With a very wide brim and extremely fancy detailed design! Size 6-5/8. This is a REAL LOOKER! This is certainly going to be a conversation piece! You just don’t find these anymore! Pictures say much more about this great hat! We took all angles and this is also part of the description. If you have any questions or need another particular photograph， please write to us.The last picture shows one of the original print ads for these great hats! We are pretty certain it’s made by Baileys! These The “U-ROLL-IT / WITH CUSHION RIDE” really makes us believe it’s a very early Bailey’s hat! Especially when under that print it states “PATENT PENDING”. We just can’t find wether Resistol or Bailey were competing for that Patent? Dad still has a very similar designed Resistol straw hat that has nearly the exact same pattern on it but his is very worn out! You would also see these worn in many of the old 1940s cowboy movies! If you are a Turner Classic Movie channel watcher or just love old movies you will see these worn in so many movies! This is a big hat， over 15 inches long and will require a larger box to ship it in. That why it’s costs a few dollars more than others we have listed. If you have any questions please write us. Ok now the particularsThe is no size tag but this actually measures to a size small size， size 6-5/8 at 21 inches. We measured it 3 times to verify it’s size. See last picture. We use the Tilley hat size chart. This chart is still in use today. Color Beige or Bone Size 6-5/8 or 21 inches or 53.3 Length 15-1/4 inches Width 13-3/4 inches Height 3.6 inches， at the highest point Wide Brim width 3.9 inches Matching Hatband 3/8 of an inch THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HAT! Everyone will turn heads for this hat! We Carefully packaged and ships though Fedex.Local pickup is always free. Ship with Fedex or USPS priority mail， whichever arrives quickest. Both costs a couple dollars more but they are very reliable and they do not crush or damage boxes， also much faster shipping. Please read our very excellent feedback.
