Domaine Michel Gros Clos de Vougeot 1999 / ドメーヌミッシェルグロクロドヴージョ 1999
HISTORY : This vineyard is located in the "Grande Maupertuis" parcel on the wall above Clos Vougeot， on the border with the Grande Zechezeaux. Jean Gros purchased it in 1967 in the name of his then 11-year-old son， Michel. Today， his cousin Anne Gros makes wine from the same vineyard， and the two parcels are vertically adjacent.
In 1985， severe frost damage necessitated pulling all the vines; in 1987， clone 115 was grafted onto the 116-49 rootstock and replanted. This resulted in very early ripening grapes.
The wines from this parcel are characterized by very supple tannins and relatively low acidity. In fact， the wines can be enjoyed young， despite their firm concentration. Moreover， the wines age very well for 10 to 15 years.
